Forum - Major update of VEOS

Please be advised that the latest VEOS which is a part of SX-Aurora TSUBASA software is released on 30-Nov-2022.

The outline of the updates are:

• VEDA improvement
  • Improved the performance of VE-to-VE data transfer when VEDA program is executed with NEC MPI.
  • Updated the API of VEDA
    • After you update VEDA package, please recompile your program that uses VEDA's features.

• VEO improvement
  • Supported ftrace output when multiple VE processes are running

• cmake
  • Add more definitions into cmake toolchain file for portability of programs.

• Bug fixes

2022年11月30日、SX-Aurora TSUBASA softwareの一部であるVEOSの最新版を公開したことをお知らせいたします。

更新内容の概要は以下の通りです。

• VEDAの機能強化
  • NEC MPIでVEDAプログラムを実行した際のVE間データ転送性能向上
  • VEDAのAPIの更新
    • VEDAパッケージをアップデートした場合、VEDAの機能を利用したプログラムを再度コンパイルしてください。

• VEOの改善
  • 複数プロセスを起動した場合でのftraceによる情報採取に対応

• cmake
  • プログラムの移植性向上のため、cmake toolchainファイルに定義を追加

• バグ修正
